TADVIC have been announced winners of the inaugural Premier’s Community Volunteering Achievement Award for 2009. The awards are to promote and celebrate the range and diversity of volunteering activities in Victoria. TADVIC Chairman, Mark Dohrmann and CEO, Fiona Still were presented with the award by Premier, John Brumby, and Community Development Minister, Peter Batchelor at a reception at the Melbourne Museum on Saturday 5th December. As well as the honour of winning the award, TADVIC will receive $5,000 to support the on-going development of volunteering and community participation activities.
